Before the incident, Heal Iambreath-Jones was merely a humble balloon maker in the balloon factory owned by Balloon Tycoon Bigs Moneyman. One day Heal was pulling the lever to the balloon makin’ machine when he tripped like a fool and fell into the pile of balloons. He wriggled, wiggled, screamed, and wiggled some more until his panicking resulted in him swallowing a balloon! Nothing happened for a minute, until Neckman was overcome with a mild wave of huge discomfort. He looked at his reflection in the pocket mirror he always carries around in his pocket. Heal’s neck grew in size, double of what his regular neck normally is, turning him into Neckman! The Amazing Neckman!

Nobody saw this event happen as the taco truck went by, and everybody likes a good taco, hahaha! Neckman would go on to save the day time and time again, putting villains in the bad guy jail. Neckman would also begin to make and market Neckman-themed gadgetry and gear that would help him defeat his foes.

…But Neckman needed an alter ego. He can switch between Neckman and regular guy, Heal Iambreath-Jones, whenever he likes, to keep his identity a secret!
